BMW and Exotic Sports Car Collision Injures Two

March 25, 2011-According to reports a collision between a BMW and an exotic sports car injured two people.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department a collision occurred Thursday night at approximately 10:40 p.m. involving a BMW 330ci and a Lotus Exige.

The crash occurred at Yorktown Avenue and Newland Street. The Lotus Exige was traveling westbound on Yorktown Avenue and the BMW was traveling northbound making a left turn onto Newland Street when the collision occurred.
According to the Huntington Beach Police, both drivers were transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, with one driver that sustained serious injuries. The driver was still receiving treatment at 1:30 a.m.

Authorities stated there were conflicting witness statements and the collision remains under investigation. But the facts so far indicate that both cars have higher than the normal 15/30/5 California State Law requirement.
